Executives Simon Simmons and his co-founder, co-chief executive of Z Galleria Andy Galleria, have just opened a new office in Manhattan, a major change for the Atlanta-based luxury carmaker.
Simon, who joined Z Galleries in March 2017, said the New York branch is part of the company’s broader effort to diversify its portfolio.
The firm is also opening an office in Atlanta, where Z Gallerie is based, in the near future.
“We are excited about the opportunity to be able to bring Z Gallieries iconic signature lines to the East Coast and beyond,” Simon said.
Z Galliers luxury car lines include the Ferrari 458 Spider and the Aston Martin DB5, as well as the McLaren P1 and Porsche 918 Spyder.
Z was acquired by American carmaker Cadillac in October 2017.
In a statement, Z said it will open a new location in the Manhattan borough of New York City.
“Our mission at Z Galleries is to bring innovative and high-quality luxury products to the consumers who depend on us for their safety, comfort and mobility,” Z said.
The New York office is part, Z says, of its strategy to diversified its portfolio in the luxury car industry.
Z said its first store in New York was opened in January 2019.
The company is now planning to open stores in Atlanta and Detroit, according to a press release.
Z has already opened stores in Miami, San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego and Austin, Texas.
Simon Simmons is also the co-chair of the Z Gallery board of directors.
Simon said the move is not related to the acquisition of Z, and that the company will continue to be focused on Z Gallers premium luxury brands.
“Z Galleries will continue as it has been, but the core of the business is Z Gallies luxury cars,” Simon wrote.
“The company will focus on the core and innovative Z Galliest cars.”
Z said the company expects the new Manhattan office to open in late January 2019, and expects to have a full staff in the city in 2020.
Simon is currently the CEO of Z Galeries, the company he co-founded in 2009.
The first Z Galliness car was the 458 Spider, which went on sale in 2015.
Z’s flagship Z Galliseries luxury car line was discontinued in 2017.
Simon began Z Galliera with the aim of creating high-end, high-performance luxury cars.
Z had to make the move from its flagship brand, the Z Galeria, in 2015 after it was acquired in a deal with the American luxury car maker Cadillac.
Z, however, has continued to launch and market its premium luxury cars, including the Z Ferrari 458 Scuderia and the Z Lamborghini Galleria.
Z also has launched and sold the Z-Max, Z-Star, and Z-Scuderia luxury cars in the U.S. Simon and his team built and sold several models of the Ferrari and Lamborghinis, as Z’s luxury brand.
Z says it has sold over 10 million vehicles worldwide.
The Z Galliere family is based in the Netherlands and was founded in 2002.
Simon grew up in Melbourne, Australia, and graduated from the University of Melbourne in 1997.
Simon founded Z Gallera in 2005 and has built the company into a global brand.
Simon has been involved in luxury car and luxury brand acquisitions for more than 20 years.
He has also been a member of the board of the New Balance Group, which owns Mercedes-Benz and Land Rover brands.
Simon also serves as chairman of the advisory board for Z Galliareg and its subsidiaries.
Simon started Z Gallereries in 2007, and has been its president and CEO since 2013.
