Zagreb, Croatia – A woman said she was sexually assaulted and robbed by a hotel security guard while she was sleeping in a room of a Westin resort.
The 34-year-old victim, who asked not to be identified, told the local paper Gazeta Wyborcza she was on a night out with her boyfriend at the Westin Hotel in the Croatian capital when she woke up with the smell of alcohol on her.
The security guard who arrived at her door told her that he had noticed she was drunk and wanted to see her.
When she refused, the guard took off her shoes and trousers and sexually assaulted her, the paper reported.
“He forced himself on me and grabbed me from behind.
I had to fight him, but I managed to push him away and tell him to stop,” the woman told Gazeta.
The incident happened in February, the woman said.
“It was humiliating, but it was the only way to get my money back,” she said.
“We are not allowed to complain because we do not have a job.”
